Compass Ironworks is proud to offer an accredited course on the Specification of Sustainable Custom Ironwork. This course was a combined effort by international education provider Hanleywood University, and the experts in the field here at Compass Ironworks. Drawing on years of experience, This program educates and informs the audience on the sustainability of custom iron and solid aluminum and how to specify estate gates, pool and property fences, and interior and exterior railings most effectively, particularly for waterfront environments. The program also demonstrates design opportunities and several solutions to potential challenges.
This course has been reviewed and accredited by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) , the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) , and the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). Professionals who are members of these organizations can receive credit towards their license for taking this class.
We are offering a special “Lunch-n-Learn” session to professional offices within 250 miles of our location, upon request. Our resident expert will travel to your office and present the course while providing lunch. We bring a large variety of sample pieces for your review and give you the chance to ask any questions that come up in a friendly open forum style discussion. The course presentation typically takes about an hour and then we open the floor for discussion and we review the sample pieces.
